This handbook is designed to support existing Home Share Coordinators by providing a comprehensive overview of the role of the home share coordinator and outlining best practices. It will also be a valuable resource for assisting with the development and onboarding of new employees. It has been produced with the guidance of two reference groups: a Working Group of BC CEO Executive Directors and a Reference Group of Home Share Coordinators from both large and small, and rural and urban service providers who hold contracts to provide coordination. The handbook has been constructed as a template to allow you to adapt it to your organization’s practices and insert your logos, forms, and references.
